There is just something weird about the rancors. In both of my bases' HQ inventory, I have two sets of regular rancors. One is a set of 3, and I assume that is from the free samples given at the start of the event, and the other is from daily crates and conflicts. They have identical stats.

Boog - this is normal. The Classic Rancors handed out via Commander News when Client Update to Version 7.0.0. was released are the 3 found at the end of your HQ Inventory near your Starship Strikes.

The "other" Classic Rancors as you indicated are from Daily Crates.

As both are HQ Samples they have the same stats per my Post found here.

Okay, is this Strix Beacon a serious part of the game or not? Every time I have been attacked by a Rancor / Dragon, my jump jets take them out in under 5 seconds. What's the value of a trap that can't hurt you?

I'm not in a squad, so is it any different for those who are?

My beacon is lvl 3 going to lvl 5

I've encountered the Dragon trap a handful of times against DEV bases. The dragon drops, lops towards my jets, and they just mow it down.

The entire Story around Big Cannon Johhar Kessen was he was coming to hunt Dragons, and they were dangerous and bad. But the jets just mow it down like wheat in a field.

So until we start seeing lvl 10 Baddies come out of this beakon they are just another time waster on your attack. Cannon Fodder to slow you down.
