Beefing Up The HQ - Suggestion

Please post any suggestions that could make the game more enjoyable for everyone. Feel free to also encourage Disney with praise of things you like.

Beefing Up The HQ - Suggestion

Now if you really want something new in the game, how about defences for the HQ building itself? It is a major building and critical in many cases for def, yet it just sits there and can be taken out by any kind of troop. Here are a couple of suggestions:

1. Powerful laser, fired from the HQ with a range more than any turret.

2. GR type troops pouring from the HQ if enemy gets too close.

3. Mega explosion, of say, 15 squares radius. Takes out everything, defender and attacker within that radius, if the HQ is destroyed.

Lets have an HQ to be proud of, not just a glorified shed.

I am sure that many of you have better ideas?

Once damaged, the HQ sprouts droid legs and runs around the map edges and away from enemy units at a speed of 120.

ON TOPIC: HQ already has Armory Equipment - Reinforced HQ Bracing - that can be "activated" at a cost of 5 EC (Equip Capacity) that boosts HEALTH by 75% (Level 1) up to 134% (Level 10).

Still even with that the HQ is too easy to destroy...

SUGGESTION: Have the the HQ have its own Shield Ability, perhaps added as a Upgrade to Level 6 HQ, or as a Armory Equipment for Structures titled "HQ Shielding", also available starting at Level 6 HQ + Armory Level 1.

  • The "Shield Radius" would be 5 Tiles for all Levels (which would extend 2 Tiles out from edge of 5x5 Tiles space used by HQ).

  • The "Shield Health" would increase for each HQ Upgrade or if Armory Equipment then the Level of the Armory Equipment titled "HQ Shielding".
The function of this would be to slow down the attacker even more allowing "defensive turrets" (if any) time to do their work.

Here’s an interesting one: Enhanced HQ shielding based the number of other base structures destroyed.

Go after the HQ first = No shield

Go after the HQ last = Most shielded

This shielding would be incredibly powerful. I’m thinking 4-5 buffed jets or jumps would take 45 seconds to get through. An attacker wouldn’t want to destroy too many buildings littered around a base before getting to the HQ or risk a 2-star win at best.

Luke walks out of the base when they get too close, and all the troops are irresistibly attracted to fire on him, but.... he's not real! He's a force hologram of some sort and he wastes like 15 seconds of time before he vanishes. Eh?! Best idea ever, right?

The Empire gets a Large Looming Force Hologram of Snoke which does nothing but look menacing and quickly vanishes. All Rebel Forces ignore Snoke and keep on Fighting... :lol:

The imps can get a force protection of Kylo without his shirt, and all the troops just stop and stare, saying...'Can you please put a shirt on....PLEASE'... also wasting 15 seconds :lol:

Yeah, I can get behind some HQ specific Equipment. I especially like the shield thing.

Great suggestions. I like the idea from Plagueis where the hq grows legs. I guess Disney would give that job to the dev who developed the Fathier, lol.

Come on Disney, give us a HQ building that is something to fight for.
