Please post any suggestions that could make the game more enjoyable for everyone. Feel free to also encourage Disney with praise of things you like.

revenge? whats the point?

Ok is anyone else sick to death of someone raiding you and when you go to revenge them to get some supplies back you get the message 'person had relocated' 'Person under protection' bla bla bla.
The amount of times I scroll through every person who's attacked me and can't find one to revenge is doing my head in.
Now I understand that cave in is a necessary part of the game but other similar games give you 'Clone' (forgive the pun) bases to attack in a revenge if the owner is under cave in/online or relocated. Not that difficult to code I guess? theres nothing more satisfying than revenging someone who attacked you and getting a heap of resources back!
Devs please give me a chance to satiate my desire for revenge!

I attack dozens of bases by day. If every one of them could revenge at the same time i would be wiped out dozens of times by day too... I don't see why I should care about it, as many players don't care.

But I like threads about revenge, so I can repost my favorite reply again and again:

along long time ago, shortly after i started this game i revenged an attack that wiped me out for 100% (got some good resources from me), then he revenged me back and took even more loot, then i revenged him back and then him back to me, each time he took more resources from me than i did from him. I realized it was an endless and pointless venture. I attack so many times in a day/week what ever and get attacked a lot too, i never revenge anymore. I don't even notice if any attack against me are revenges. probably not as i planet jump at regular intervals chasing crates. That might be why you cant revenge, they attack you then jump planets to chase the next crate. That breaks the revenge opportunity.

Revenge is a strange part of the game. When you randomly attack in PvP you have 30 seconds to guess the strength of base etc and attack with the troops in your transport.
For revenge, you can scout the base for longer periods, check the level of each building and build the right troops. I have never revenge attacked as I think it a bit twisted. It is just a game. Many have revenge attacked me. They need to get a life.

its an option, a choice, and if your opponent has moved, it is not because they are trying not to be revenged, it is because they are doing objectives on other planets or they simply stole all the available good loot on that planet, if they are protected then they already have been attacked. really as simple as that.

Revenge is pointless if you cannot get more (or at least the ones that were taken from you) contraband/resources...

Those that think players are jumping planets simply to chase crates are full of poodoo. You are delusional and probably do it too. They jump for many reasons. We joke around in my squad after a big haul that the victor should jump to avoid revenge. I propose that you should get one attempt at revenge on an attacker, even under protection. That would possibly level things out against all those LVL 10 wallet warriors who still live in mom's basement and play this game all day between surfing for porn.

I will occasionally revenge just before I jump planets, since there's a high chance for good loot (active players often have more loot; especially the sandbaggers that find me in PvP). But if someone absolutely rolled my base, I'm not going to make a revenge attack just so they can wipe the floor with me a 2nd time...

I know that this is an old thread, but revenge is about the only way I can hit a base to get resources, otherwise I get stuck with dev bases that pay out a whopping $3-5k every time.

However, the planets have to be in line and a new moon is out to even have a chance of catching the person when they are not protected and not online.
