Unfair Squad War Matchups

after a long string of lopsided matches, we finally got a good one, one it, then drew a lopsided one and got rolled, now in a third and winning it.

so ... eventually you'll get one that's better.

but, eventually the universe will die of entropy, so be prepared to wait a while for eventually to work through things

Another weekend., another horrible match. Just contacted the squad leader to see what we can do.

The war queue and actual matchup experience makes it pretty clear that there are mostly high level squads with a lot of 100K medals or beginner squads with a mix of Level 3 through 10, and possibly one Prestige in the lineups. The Prestige though, is not a max player and most likely has under 20K in medals and under 1K wins under their belt. The high level squads on the Imperial side seem to get matched up quickly and the new squads tend to wait a long time. Very few comparable rebel squads in the queue for them to match up against. If you use a Prestige player with over 30K medals in your lineup and you are a rebel squad, you will probably cross the threshold and get matched up with one of the high end Imperial squads. Better to leave the Prestige player out of it, if you want to launch a lower HQ war. I will say that given the outpost buffs and the proliferation of MTT's, ITT's and A5's. The matchups don't matter as much anymore.

We launched a war with just 2 Prestige players with only 25K and 11K medals respectively, and the rest of the squad was level 10 through 4. Only 5 players total at level 9 or above. A couple of 8's. We faced a squad with 12 Prestige, 1 level 10, and 2 level 8's. We had a chance to tie at the end and only lost by a score of 45-43.

If you're in a much stronger position in a War, especially if your squad has already reached level 50, you should really consider letting the other squad have all of the outposts, even if they include Tako.

With units like SMTTs and the like, the outposts really aren't necessary for the win.

The last 20 wars of ours have been totally lopsided. We are the empire. We will have 3 Prestige bases, 1 is me, and then mix of levels down to lvl 4. We are then matched with a team with the lowest lvl is a prestige base with only half the base prestd. Wtf?!
