Thanks for sharing SCHose. Weird that your MM consistently takes so long as a rebel squad. And your reward for waiting is an imp war team with 23% higher average base score.

In the old forum, we were told by a developer that war match making is based solely on average base rating (not adjusted base rating) of the warring members.

So, the only score that matters here is WPBS.

We crossed two thresholds recently that are thought to open up matchmaking to an even wider pool: having fought in more than 20 previous Wars and having 3 or more lvlX players in the war party. The gap in matchmaking is consistently higher for us than before. Current:

Seems to support Disney's suggestion to avoiding mismatches by making sure your war party is all lvlX bases

Without getting into any numbers guys, ( I wll leave that to you as you clearly know what it all means), my thoughts were that matchmaking criteria seems more relaxed than ever, but faster. Just a few weeks ago we regularly waited in excess of 24 hours every time. Suddenly each matchup takes a minute or 2, but mismatched more than ever.
I dont keep any records or data, just play for fun so sorry I cannot contribute any data.

If I can offer this tidbit, no numbers yet, just what I know to be true so far. Being a member of 2 squads (Lions and Duza Elite) in relatively close ranking in SWC and SOD, matchmaking only takes a minute or 2 at most for the rebel squad and maybe about the same for the empire squad. Our last squad war selection Lions got Dark~Brigade, Duza's Elite got Norway. I know it's all subjective so far but there is something to this other than just face value.

I saw this posted on Line as well. I was glad to see an actual response but I don't put a lot of faith in it. This is the same support staff that said "guaranteed" means "guaranteed chance" in regards to incorrect conflict crates and also seems to never have any clue what they are talking about. While this contradicts what the developers said on Playdom (that basescore is used), it could have certainly been changed since then.

all members? lol, does it mean that a squad of 20 maxed lvlX players will be considered 1.5x times weaker than squad of 30 maxed lvlX players? :D
