Me and some of my squadmates emigrated to Galaxy Control. It's pretty similar to SWC even in graphics, the only cons so far is that upgrading takes a long time; difficult to get resources; there are VIP features and to enter a squad you must be HQ4. Some people say endgame is p2w. Plus, its community doesnt seem much active. I couldnt even find a forum or group... i wonder if it's gonna last.

Too bad there'll never be a game as good as SWC :(

so far games even remotely similar to SWC that i've found :

  • Castle clash (still playing, tho game emphasizes the P2W part quite a lot, they are quite hand generous with gems, so you can still play)
  • clash royale (didn't like it much)
  • galaxy control 3d (tbh this wasn't much fun from my point of view)
  • Star wars galaxy of heroes (yeah, not similar to SWC but it is star wars :D)

Will update after I remember more from my huge list of games that I recently downloaded

Looks like they have Star Trek Timelines on their App store and will be buying my dilithium crystals from
china. Some company just got picked this month to support that game...rather give money to china at this point

Well there may be a Chinese Version of SWC still active. Very early on Disney licensed a Chinese Company to run a version of Star Wars Commander that ran on their own Servers and not at that time Disney Servers.

Sorry, and for everyone. I am from China, in 2017 year closed SWC Chinese version by ShenLi company, so our members move to foreign edition SWC at that time, and you can search "China-" keyword find out some from China's squad now. You're right. China has a set of SWC versions that can run independently, but the proxy company closed it so long time. We Chinese players are very frustrated.....and NOW......

No Star Wars on chinas App store

Just wanted to update DeathStriker, where you mentioned this game was ported to china..

There are no Star Wars games on China's emui App store. And another update...chinese MatePad Pro ships with THEIR Appstore....AND the Google App store....Google and Apple wont like this. (This Matepad Pro rocks)
