You are assuming that they are actually doing something... and working on the weekend none the less... not likely...

I am assuming that the dev bases turned off when a timer ran out and they are completely unaware. At least that is the impression that support is giving.


The matches generally get better during non-peak times like for the last hew hours.

First thing when I log in in the morning is best and then the CNFOs build up and then during day and then in the evening it gets better again (EST).

It’s highly dependent on the number of players in your time zone and the time you try to play.

Just after breakfast/dinner time on the east coast is a good time to play. In the morning, you get both players on that coast and in Europe finishing their dinner. Later in the day/dinner-time you get the west-coast players and some of Asia. If you’re kind of caught in the middle time zones (like Mountain), you may miss both sweet spots.

I’ve been traveling for work and noticed the difference depending on where I was. You can (mostly) guess where your opponents are from the base names.

I Submitted a ticket on an old CNFO complaint and they replied saying the conversation is closed and to use the hypertext link provided to start a new conversation.

The link was to a casino game :-/ *facepalm*

Just not a lot of confidence in the support staff....

Hi xxx,
Thanks for letting us know about your inability to search for an opponent, while it can normally occur when there are less players that are inactive in a Planet, don't worry as there were a few bugs found and we're testing the fix for it right now. While we're unable to provide a tentative date as to when that'll be released - as it depends on the success rate of the fix. Nevertheless, be assured that we are continuously working on this.

I don't believe Support know what we are talking about, all these are like generic responses. I doubt any in Support plays games, much less this game to know what is happening.

Maybe is a problem with game code created by Disney in the time Prestige was released, with some date to expire and turn off the Dev bases. Dev bases are only mirrors of real bases, and now the time is over.

It seems not being on purpose like I was thinking -- like let's try to make changes in matchmaking now once these 2 weeks of conflicts have no much impact on game -- but some code error that can't generate Dev bases anymore.

Or someone very stupid turn off the Dev bases to try adjust matchmaking, couldn't do this, and now they are stuck with no progress in finding a solution.

Remember when Squad Wars were disabled after an update, it took Support nearly a month to resolve the issue.

I've been waiting almost 3 months for something to grind for... been looking forward to the MTT event... if this shit carries into that... i'm done. Finito. Move on and find another game. One week is bad enough... any more than that and after 5 years of 'fun' I'm closing casa del Richaldo.

You're all submitting tickets about the wrong thing and skirting around the issue.

It's not about CNFO. It's about the loss of the max loot dev bases.

If you submit a ticket about CNFO, implying indirectly (without actually saying it) that you want max loot bases back, don't expect Zynga to grasp what you're actually hinting at.

Stop submitting tickets about CNFO. Start thinking. Start submitting tickets that you want max loot dev bases back. That will fix ***BOTH*** the CNFO issue and the max loot dev bases issue.

I've literally stopped attacking. GR and the Armory have killed it for me. Attack a blinged-out gold base with a ton of glowing crap for a chance at 300k alloy to grind for a 6.5 million turret upgrade? Then wait hours for my air support to rebuild to try again for similar chances? Hahaha. No. :roll:

The one and only reason I stay in now is for squad wars and my squad. Our squad won our last war and I got 6 million alloy in the prize crate. I have a turret upgrading, then just one more burst turret to do after that. So rather than grind meaninglessly or get attacked and lose it all, I just purchased a week of protection with the crystals I already had in stock. Now I can take a week off checking my base, upgrade my last burst turret and finish them all off. I still have 4 sonics to upgrade, but that upgrade is meaningless anyway as it doesn't increase damage, so they can stay Level 10.

In other words, I'm done now. Both dekas are over Level 40, all major units researched to Prestige, and all useful turrets will soon be Prestige. No reason to grind, no reason to attack anymore.

When I started on iOS/Android my first Rebel base on Aug/2016, my goal was get HQ 8 and stay at HQ 8 and play for fun. I should have kept at HQ 8 and don't upgrade it to the hell of Prestige and now get stuck and idle because Prestige sucks and game is near unplayable at Prestige.

When I started on iOS/Android my first Imperial base at the Windows closing announcement (Jun/2017), my goal was get the crystal compensation and build a better base than I had on Windows, and now it's done, and I still have 61k crystals to burn.

As dual faction player, I'm getting tired of creating new bases everytime game gets unplayable for some of them, Imperial and Rebel, due to changes like turrets nerf, buff/nerf units, CNFO, bugs and stupid matchmaking that makes impossible win if you have to attack rivals 3 levels above.

I was waiting for the MTT event for maybe a last breath of fun for my two Prestige bases, but if things don't get fixed when the Event starts, I will retire both from PvP, reduce these bases to feeders as I am not interested in play wars as I am the only Prestige in my squad of newbies, and it would be a massacre if I put my Prestige in war along with a bunch of HQ 5 to 7.

I like helping squads and training players, I've been doing this since my last year on Windows. I will keep doing it while I still can play with my HQ 7 and HQ 8 for fun. Probably I'll be around when they pull the plug to turn off the lights.

I agree... but will hang on for squad and squad wars, friendships.
