I said it about 3 or 4 years ago that when DGO is engaged he is a force of nature that can't be stopped.

During Windows days when we had only top 30 or so players receive Ultra Chrome rewards in conflicts he was always there. Nice to see him playing hard again, but at the pace he's on the crash is inevitable(burn out) or at least it would be for me.
Some men aren't looking for any logical solution. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn. The child who is not embraced by the village will burn it down to feel its warmth.

Yeah, he was definitely the best on Windows with Kessen, although I think Virs was the best overall rebel attacker. Virs didn't need tricks or a lot of air, when he came to town, you went down, lol. This was the first time I've been attacked by DGO since windows. I was happy to get away with 2% of my base left alive. He didn't use air or SC, and would have easily wiped me had he just used a couple airships.

I really enjoy this tournament,

For a next edition, wouldn't it be a great idea to limit the playing field to three planets? Hoth, 1 Desert, 1 Green? I am sure this has been considered and equally sure that this is not possible, but why wouldn't it work? And maybe an obligation to do an equal number of attacks ion each planet type? Now the action is mainly on sand/Tatooine...

Just a suggestion, otherwise nothing but praise for the guys who made this possible.

I would love to see their attack replays. Must be fun to see, even if you are the base going down.

I'll post a couple clears on my base soon. One thing I can say that is consistent with top-flight attackers is they always have a contingency plan for the enemy squad Center, whether it is popping it and sending it to a corner or sniping it with kessen.

First of all, I thank organizers to hold the tournament. They prepare tools to count scores automatically and encouraged many players without reward. Thank you very much.

Here is the score result.
Image
The score who has less than 100 is majority, 64%. They did not specific efforts at GW (Galactic War). They just did usual conflicts and some of them might have not put GW marker correctly. They might have wrongly made entry because they thought they got score from Dev base attacks, or might not match the other GW players due to low medals or base scores. Otherwise, they may be forced to join by their squads sadly.
Who are the rest? 28% of scoring players from 100 to 500 are feeder. They joined but time or skill is not enough. They feed scores by attack or defense to top players.
7%, more than 500 score, 49 players are top players to compete the tournament. You may need to be in top 50 to enjoy GW.

A few days after GW started, I noticed this tournament was "Pay for Win". Everyone knows PvP at SWC is tough. We can still win but need all resources: Droids (Deka/Deko), Air and SC. Otherwise, we lose easily. We get them for crystal.
The top 20 players in leaderboard show their excellent attacks and defenses. I learn many things from their replays to my base. I change base design many times and tried new attacks. However, it's obvious that I cannot catch them without crystal.

Why do we hate conflicts? One reason is we are required to attack dev bases repeatedly. I feel wasting my life to attack super boring Dev bases. PvP is fun, though tough to win. In addition, the reward does not come from skills. Now, conflict reward is given only for consumed time. I hope we must be evaluated by skill mainly.
I appreciate all crystal buyers, which drive SWC servers and dev teams, but we are users. I want a tournament which evaluates our pure skill. It may have more players active in and out of tournament.
