One of my squadmates had his lvl 11 base wiped by a player named Phoenix. Could be the same player, he had nine lvl X mtt's and used seven lvl X medships. It probably cost ~100 xtals. If it were my base, I wouldn't mind getting wiped by that. Zynga was smart to make the mtt a merc, they cashed in on the crate sales, and will continue to cash in on xtalled attacks. That's a good thing imo.

Yes, ten level 10 MTT's will destroy a majority of Prestige bases. Been testing loadouts with a full load of MTT's and also mixes with Jets, Wookiee Wagons, and mixing in specialist units like vans, hails, bikes, etc. With the full MTT loadout, I don't even bother with infiltrators, vans or any other units. The combined damage by the MTT's, the spawning Dowutin's, and the grenade splash damage, does a number on the shields, walls, and gr/sc troops. A max level Prestige base with a full sc and gr at armory level 9-10 can slow down a full MTT loadout, but even then it's a 2 star win without sc help and often a 3 star win with sc help.

In our last war, our level 9 with level 9 Donut wagons and our level 8 with level 6 donut wagons, took out 6 Prestige bases with base scores north of 3100. Since the donut wagons do not rely on the outposts, they can probably replicate the results in a NO-OP war.

During this event i've been hitting the first base I attack when I go for a new crate with 8 level 7 mtt's everytime. No matter what level base, what barrack troops or sc troops it's a guaranteed win to start me off . They are brutal these weapons :) After that i throw in a combination of speeder trucks and mtt, cos quicker to build. Often the same result...

Yeah, got my transports up to level 8 with a combination of UC's, crate purchases, and cashing in on the May 4th crate crystals. My brother got to level 7 with the same approach. It's definitely more for wars than anything else. We saw great value from the units in the most recent war. They do play in PvP if the Prestige base has mid to low level gr. Won't work at level 5 vs. high level gr, but have not tested them since I got them to level 8 this morning after I opened the UC crates during lunch. Will test them tonight after work.

How do they hold up vs. mostly Rocket Turret bases? Do any particular guard reserve make a dent in them?

If you use them vs. mostly Rocket Turret bases, it's like using Jets vs a Burst Turret farm. However, you will most likely open yourself up to Jet attacks. The great thing about the SMTT's is that you now have an option. SMTT's vs Burst turret farms and Jets vs Rocket farms. Both can be used vs Sonic Farms, using healers, baiting, and spacing. If the base design gives the SMTT's enough time to spawn troops, then they can take down a Rocket Farm. The spawning Dowutin's become a buffer from the Rocket turrets. If the base has level 10 gr, then it's still tough to 3 star, regardless of loadout. However, an all SMTT loadout at level 10, generally does more damage than Prestige level Jets with level 9 armory buffs. I'm not sure if that will hold true once my Jets are at armory level 10.

I have mtts at lvl 10 and lvl 10 jets with lvl 9 skins. I get the question of what is best for defence against mtts so I'll share some of my experiences. At lvl 10, dowutins spawn fast enough to tank nearly all rocket fire damage. If you are going to go with rockets, you need to have a close to all-rocket layout and then it's kind of a gamble where rockets get to fire at the mtt and not at the dowutins (this can happen if dows are stuck on wall or shield and mtts get to the same distance as dowutins, if this doesn't happen, rockets cannot attack mtts cos dows are faster). What really gives me trouble is sonics because they essentially attack both the mtt and dows no matter how many dows have spawned. Then the obvious question is how to deal with itho/kubaz baits.

option 1: Centre base and wall up everything and create enough distance so that ithos can't bait sonics.
option 2: Corner hq with rockets and spread wall pieces so ithos can't reach sonics fast enough. Using 6 or so rockets on corners will take the mtts in the 5second window before the first spawn; and the sonics will defend the opposite side if they come that way.

P.S. Sonic-farms are the way to go in my opinion but it's still not full proof even if you lay out ur base to negate itho baits. With the healer starships, I haven't come across a base I can't 3 star.

In terms of GR, skinned heavy cannons on hoth (stuck in between buildings) is really strong especially because of the AOE dmg. snipers are meh.. they don't do enough damage. Better to rely on skinned jets in SC cos they are immune to the grenades that dow's throw.

Also, try making better use of traps cos they are quite effective against mtts as opposed to jets. mtts are slow and will take the entire centre dmg of traps if you place traps behind a turret or 2 so vanguards/shocks suicide before taking out trap.

TL:DR, u need to focus fire on the mtts not the dows. Sonics are more reliable in doing this.

Surely it was technically impossible for you to have level 10 MTT's? Over 500 frags required when only 92 were available if you managed 6 campaigns? Or did you spend several hundred on crates?

Therealharbinger - Also keep in mind that those with a Level 10 Cantina can have Level 10 SMTT HQ Samples.

I bought crates with crystals I got for compensation on lost account. Then I had to wait on all my upgrades XDD I still think it was worth it..

I would like to see a full attack of Level 10 Vans.

During the SMTT conflict game gave Daily Crates with 200 crystals, I was able to get 8 crates for 2 of my accounts -- that's are 1600 crystals --, my other 4 accounts got 7 Crates. The Crates in Shop were offering only SMTT rewards, 11 frags per crate at 500 crystals.

If you were able to 6 UCs in all planets, bought 3 crates with the bonus crystals and put extra money to buy more crates (the SMTT crates was kept available even after the conflict ends), probably you have the unit at a good level now. But Level 10 means a lot of crates and thousands of crystals even if they come from compensation.

I used my Windows crystals to unlock and get the SMTT at level 5. The cost are too high after this with all those frags requirements. I use them to fill the SC of my HQ 6, and they do good for attack and defense, as usually it needs to 2 fangs/striker to destroy the truck.

Using them at Level 5 with my Prestige in PvP against Rebel Live bases full of GR, SC Jets, and full Sonics and Rockets is some kind of 1 star, maybe 2. Anyway, I need to go with 4 or 5 Vans, and more Jumps, hero, and ships, SC and everything else... nevermind, better keeping attacking Dev bases...
