Does losing a member no longer give your squad a bump on the list?

For most of the time I've been playing this game, whenever a member would leave or get kicked out of our squad for inactivity, a new member would join to take their place very shortly after. I remember reading on this forum at some point that this was because losing a member would cause your squad to get bumped to the top (or near the top?) of the list of available squads that players see when they're looking for one to join. Lately this has no longer been happening for us, so our squad is gradually dwindling in numbers--are other people experiencing this too, and if so is it because squads are no longer getting bumped when they lose a member?

I think it depends on how many players you have left. If I recall you need at least 15 to be a featured squad. We used to get auto-filled almost immediately, until we lost a batch of trial players and dropped to 14 or so. We have not been getting new players lately.

Kind of hoping we see a surge in new players when the EP event pops up, or Zynga starts advertising new changes to the game.

We've had over 15 the whole time, but almost no one joining us for at least the last month.

I find it that once we hit 18 or 19 players, we get featured.

If I recall correctly, losing members occasionally doesn't always result in you becoming a featured squad.

Sometimes you need to have a series of joiners and leavers to get your squad bumped towards the top of the 'featured squad' list.

If you mention your squad name, I'll try and stop by next time I'm donating rep to another squad.

From our Squad experience, we normally maintained 20. If we lose a player and drop tonight 19, we immediately go to the featured list. My understanding is you have to have at least 15 people to be on the features list and that does not guarantee that people will make an attempt to join. Other players had the option to join whatever Squad they choose to. Therefore, when and if they view your squad and they see things such as low donations, or low medal count they may not choose to join your squad. Also, they look at your ranking. Contingent on the person that is looking for a squad if they are looking for a high rank Squad and you are low on the list they will probably not pick you. Another factor is requirements. For instance if people do not use line and you do, they will not join. If your requirements are above their stats, they will not join. There are quite a few more factors as to why they may or may not join your squad. Just because you lose a player does not guarantee that one will join your squad immediately.

Auto fill seems to be working again. Had 8 new members join at the same time.

We are always looking for active players. We have a squad of 20+ members, and we war at least once a week. We have maxed out our Perks. We like helping new players, so all players are welcome!
