Sometimes you gotta wonder if the mouse even knows or even cares. Perhaps balancing the damage actually breaks the game. Lol

Are these the only turrets that have a discrepancy in damage?

It's not like the empire version is that awesome. It still does less damage than advertised (~75%).

Yes, these are the only turrets that do not match the listed damage values.

Yeah right. That's why so many imps are running RFT farms, coz they blow smoke rings. Take your 53% advantage and then try throwing armory buffs on it (the easiest buffs to collect out of all the turrets).

The problem with running RFTs at higher levels is the same as running any direct fire turret: anyone with a medship can just drop it on a pack of jets or jumps and they’ll cut through a grouping of even buffed RFTs without losing a single flier because they target the closest unit only. A lot of people do run RFTs but it leaves them extremely vulnerable to attacks as the progress and face the tougher opponents who do use medships. I’m one of them.

Thank you for pointing out the difference between the RFTs. I noticed it before as well.

All RFTs would be weak, a few mixed in can be beneficial to strip meds, weds, luggas etc.

I noted both Skywalker and Incineindine had 3 RFTs each when I cleared their bases last time we warred you guys :)
