When you hit ‘Skip’ on your 4 year old iOS device with a grimy screen, turn away and pour yourself a cup of coffee, add some milk, look back at the screen and find you are 15 seconds into the attack with nothing deployed and no plan...

That Star Wars Commander moment when ... you think you’re about to clear the base, only to realise you’ve missed a droid corner hut, and your troops can’t get their in time.

... when you zoom in to get a better look at what is under a shield, decide the base is worth attacking... only to find out a moment later one finger found the edge of the “next battle” button.

That SWC moment when you finally are near the end of running after the regular frags
Proud Officer of the CircleOf Family of squads. Many experienced and motivated longtime high-level players; regular/against OP/NO OP wars, to each his own. English spoken. Worldwide brotherhood of rebel scourges

what are "regular frags"? I haven't seen them in ... months.

Just crates of 25k credits or alloy. Worthless shite.

That Star Wars Commander Moment when...

  1. They announce that Star Wars Commander will be closing in 3 Months (or less).

  2. Only 4 Days Later they give everyone 1 MILLION CRYSTALS allowing All Players to Fully Upgrade to Prestige Level by...

    • Reducing the Time and Cost to Upgrade Buildings, Units, and Armory Equipment...
    • Enabling Players to fully Upgrade ALL Units and Armory Equipment via use of 1 Crystal Special Crates in the SHOP...
  3. Along with #2, at the same time, they effectively ruined Squad Wars (unless you want to War just for the "fun" of it) since if you get a Victory Crate (rarer now) or Stalemate Crate (Tie-Score more likely now) that your "Rewards" are moot because...

    • Resources are/will be more plentiful on PvP Bases and if desired can be purchased using your 1 MILLION CRYSTALS in the SHOP.
    • Reputation is moot as you can get nearly the same amount 9 versus 10 by Donating 1 Unit to a Squadmate per day.
    • Unit Frags are not needed since you can use the "Special Shop Crates" to get those and after you have Maxed Frag-Wise all possible "Unit Frag Rewards" you get Image Credits (not needed).
  4. Given #1, #2, and #3 above you are saddened that in 90 days or less you will...

    • See your Squad slowly die away...
    • Miss chatting with some great Squadmates and Friends as they move on...
    • Be gladdened by remaining for a time in contact with some great Squadmates and Friends on LINE or Discord or following them to another Game.
  5. FINALLY... ON A MORE PERSONAL NOTE... When Game Ends I will end my Moderation of this Forum shortly thereafter and will miss helping out the SWC Community at large.
AND SO... That Star Wars Commander Moment when each of us ponder what was, and what could of been for this great game...

That Star Wars Commander Moment when...

You come to the end of playing after 5 years, 9 months, and shed a few tears as you make a post in game saying farewell to your Squadmates on all 3 of your Accounts just a few hours prior to Zynga Shutting Down SWC Servers Forever

AND SO...

That Star Wars Commander Moment when...

Life after SWC begins with you wondering where and what gaming "adventure" you will do next...
