Some people don't bother using the supershot on the SC. They purposely bait and kill the dekas, then wait for the SC to trip, then fire the supershot. I don't care for this strategy, as you have to wait for Kessen to retarget before he takes out everything, but it is a viable strategy.



Its actually the main reason I use it. pull both dekas into the open and deal with them using the jumper horde. But if people want to line up the SC and both dekas in a straight line... how can we resist

Yeah I've noticed this issue as well. Also when you fire the shot it highlights the target in red, so you know where you're aiming. So far the only thing that possibly makes sense as far as the shot failing is the junk building theory, I will pay attention to that for the next while....

I could have sworn you picked up a 3-star from me about a month ago (along with a bunch of loot). ;-) You hit the SC just fine with that shot (even got a good second one in).

But yeah, I'll add my +1 to the graphic not matching the effect. Had a guy attack me yesterday who just missed and it largely ruined his day but the white smoke went right through the SC (damage line, not so much).

Speaking from a defence perspective on Kessen loadout, I find that a horde of sharps has a hard time getting 3 stars. All the loot, yeah, pretty much, but 100% is pretty rare. Just something about the speed, timing, etc, maybe the walls, shields, starting further back, or just the number of sharps vs heavies. The DPS over the total attack time for whatever reason generally isn't enough to collect 100% if that's what you care about.

I have level ten Luggas, what level does kessen have to be in order to nuke a level ten sc with only one Lugga?

I assume you mean the minimum level he needs to be. IDK, but I am interested in the answer. There should be a Kessen/Lugga SC matrix.

Yes exactly, I have a level 3 kessen, just wondering what I need to get him to in order to require only one L10 Lugga to nuke a L10 sc... A matrix would be great

its hard to determine. Ive tried to calculate the magnetic pulse. It seems to be about 4x damage. But I obviously cannot model it correctly. I think the beam is more than 1 square wide. With diminishing return the further from midline you are with your shot.

Ive seen Level X kessen snipe a SC. Ive calculated that a level 6 Kessen with 1 Lugga level X should do it too.

Thx MS, that's a good goal. He's gotta be the toughest unit to upgrade on Windows, especially for rebs. You have him on your Drogo account yet?

I dont know if he is easier to upgrade on Windows as an Imp. Erkit is loaded with low level Imps, it is much easier to get cheap defensive wins on rebel side. At least my imp doesnt get those wins, and will face CNFO quite a bit. With the massive cnfo issues for rebels, when a rebel gets my imp in rotation, they generally use everything they have to at least get a star.

And yes, Khal has Kessen at level 6 right now, he was at level 2 when i started playing him again. His luggas are only level 6 though

Projectile Data for the Kessen Beam also contains the values 100,90,80 in a DB field called "widthSegments". This could indicate a beam width of roughly 5 tiles when these values mean a percentage multiplier by distance of the beam center. (80,90,100,90,80)

Screenshots of the Kessen Beam shooting through multiple wall layers could be helpful to gain more info.
