Seems like Disney changed the manifest URLs and format "a bit" since the last app update.

Apparently a (game) login is now needed before acquiring the manifest.

Correct me if I'm wrong. :)

Wiki updates might be delayed a bit until I find time to update the code.

Manifest url current is: d50ea5a0.content.disney.io/manifests/__manifest_starts_prod.01012.json
The 01012 is the version nr which is updated with every release.
No login required.
The format has been simplified.

Code: Select all

{
  "version": "01012",
  "unique": "1492821586",
  "cdnRoot": "https://d50ea5a0.content.disney.io/",
  "url": "https://storage.googleapis.com/d50ea5a0-6cbc-4f78-9b67-468c5be90002.disney.io/manifests/__manifest_starts_prod.01012.json",
  "paths": {
    "assetbundles/android/aat1_rbl-ani.assetbundle": {
    "crc": "B4C6319C",
    "v": 1490909177
  },
    "assetbundles/android/aat1_smg-ani.assetbundle": {
    "crc": "22414761",
    "v": 1490909177
  },
  ...

To download a file use the "cdnRoot", append the "v" and then the "'path":

Code: Select all

https://d50ea5a0.content.disney.io/1490909177/assetbundles/android/aat1_rbl-ani.assetbundle

Kender - Thanks for providing updated information. :D

For those interested the "original format" can be found in the Main Thread Post.

I'm new @ all this stuff, but would like to be able know how to do this so I can update my offensive capabilities chart myself.

I've gotten to the point to where I can download the file I want, but am not really sure what to do after that. I tried to use the JSON Editor that Deathstrike provided, but it does not work for this new format (hope that I'm usings the correct terminology).

I want to check out the Security Droid's level 4 & 5 offensive stats, the Astromedic's updated stats, & the T-5 Deliverance stats, & a few of the elite skins as well.

What do I need to do after downloading the file to find that information? This is all I'm getting.

I think I figured out how to pull the data. Could someone confirm?

Download the current base.json.XXX.assetbundle (in my case, used android for XXX)
Extract using Unity Studio
Open text file saved

Then decipher the info in the text file.

Am I close?

I miss the "stats" side of SWCommander. I really got into analyzing if 3 of these are better then 4 of those units...trying to really tweak and optimize my load-outs. Now there are enough OP units that I don't even have to dump a full load each time, use a hero, or air support. Funny how the dynamics of the game have changed recently.

Anyways - without Kender around and his ilk, does anyone know how to find the latest URL's for manifest data? There are version numbers in the path that are not obvious to me in the URL paths. Above Kender mentions version "01012" and the root of the path is "d50ea5a0", but when I go to these locations the game data appears to be static and refers to game data from April.

Thanks for any input! I'm trying to revive that little part of me that enjoys the numbers side of this game.

Great site, but it hasn't been updated in months.

Sorry for coming in as a noob and necroing a thread, but I was curious if there's a way to view the game's text files. Dialogue, unit descriptions, etc.

Crimzonite - Welcome to the Forum!! :D

Looking at the Game Data (from what is available) is daunting and not easy but can be done.

View Post #32 and Post #33 in this Thread (see above) for links and information on how to get started if you wish.

Or you could also visit the SWC Wiki.

Hope that helps answer your question.
