Leveling up units

Leveling up units
I just got this game, and i know yesterday I saw somewhere you could upgrade units.. maybe the barracks? but no.. nothing seems to be the right one.. so how in gods name do I simply... again.. simple thing that is aparently not available anymore!!!! how do I upgrade my units (stormtroopers and such)

All Unit and eventually Armory Equipment Upgrades are done in the Research Lab.

You can build a research center at level 3. Look in the shop. Of course, to upgrade units to level 2 and then 3, you need to first upgrade the research center to 2 then 3. I recommend making the research center the first building you upgrade each time you level up your HQ.
