Rebel walls Lvl8 Q

Hi folks,
Starting with LVL8 HQ and LVL7 walls, do you prefer solid arrangements or the staggered approach? It seems recent updates changed the troop/vehicle approach. What is y'alls experience to defend?

Before the recent updates a solid wall with key openings was key to channeling both attacking forces and where your SC forces went once activated. Both versions (windows and IOS/android)now ghost SC forces so walls don't matter and the attacking AI you could exploit seems to be a lot less lately. Staggering makes them take more space so you get a bit more offset to delay forces in your kill zone and make them deploy a bit further away from what you are trying to defend.
