Chapter 6 (Rebel): Mission 6 - How do I get 3 stars?

This is the mission where you are trying to protect the jawa peoples, with chosen units, like 6 tanks and an airstrike. I've been trying to get 3 stars, and I haven't been able to. The problem I'm running into is that they are just to slow, and the time runs out. Does anyone have any ideas how to get 3 stars on this level?

You gotta spread the tanks in pairs or triplets. It's actually pretty easy. Just make sure you have a lot of speed bikes to take out the infantry. Speed bikes are also great for this level because they are fast.

The OP is right in saying there are just tanks and an air strike, no speeder bikes. The air strike can take out most of the infantry but the tanks still seem quite slow. I'm stuck on two stars as well.

Take out one of the stupid useless buildings with the air strike. Saves the time the tanks waste going across the map. I got 3 stars with about 40 seconds left.

You place two on either side of the South turret.
You place two on either side of the East turret.
You place two on either side of the turret just north of the East turret (aka the Northeast Turret.)
You airstrike the easternmost building.

I had to do it several times, and it finally worked when I called an airstrike on the southernmost building. I had abour 6 seconds left when the last building - the easternmost, was destroyed.
